I had 3 bulk bags of top soil and a bulk bag of golden gravel delivered yesterday. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the driver but he was so helpful, polite and friendly. We didn’t think we would be able to have them dropped over into the back garden as we’d been told by a previous driver it wasn’t possible however the driver yesterday asked where we were putting the stones and soil, came round to assess it and dropped them into our back garden. Please could a massive Thankyou be passed onto the driver as this saved us hours of extra work and really made a difference to us! He was so friendly, polite and an absolute credit to the company!

Just wanted to say we are so impressed with Thorncliffe ! The insulation dropped off yesterday was stacked neatly. Also the skip was put there and fencing placed back neatly. This is the care of service that sets Thorncliffe above any other local merchant. All other products we’ve ordered from other merchants have certainly not been handled in this way. I also have to say Thorncliffe are always first with a quote whereas others take much longer and some don’t even bother to do the quote.

It might not have gone unnoticed to you but there is a supplier of fence panels very close to where I live. However, when it comes to customer service Thorncliffes stand head and shoulders above everyone. Having just had my first experience of Hiring an Hydrema 912D Multiswivel from AJK, I know why they are on their 100th Machine and still counting! Absolutely First Class Service from the initial enquiry, account setup, delivery/collection and even a briefing on the machine use. With our machinery still working in Scandinavia, we required low ground pressure excavators, dozers and dump trucks. AJK were the perfect choice, well maintained machinery that fitted the bill and professional friendly staff. Although based many miles from the site, machine deliveries arrived not only on the day promised but to the hour. Any problems and there were very few would be sorted out instantly by Debbie or Rob. AJK are now at the forefront of excavator hire with the supply of Engcon units, which double the production rate of many tasks we have to undertake creating a golf course. We used the Hydrema 922 dump truck on our site and found it very beneficial. We will definitely be hiring through them again. The floatation tyres on the Hydrema 922c proved vital in the wet weather maintaining a low ground pressure while managing to easily move large loads across boggy terrain. We hired the plant for 2 months and AJK were very helpful throughout. Also, the hiring process through AJK Plant Hire Ltd was a very smooth and efficient one. A high quality job all round
