If you're unsure whether a metal is non-ferrous, simply use a magnet. If it sticks, it's likely ferrous and we won't be able to purchase it. Non-ferrous metals are generally not magnetic. We purchase a wide variety of non-ferrous metals, including Aluminium, Aluminium Wheels, Brass, Bronze, Bullets, Copper, Copper Cable, Electric Motors, Gunmetal, Irony Aluminium, Lead, Lead Acid Batteries, Low Grade Cable, Old Coins, Stainless Steel, Tungsten, and Zinc.
We do not purchase Aluminium Drink Cans, Beer Barrels, Food Packaging, Iron, Steel, or Sealed Gas Cylinders.
To scrap your material with us, we require some identification. Please refer to our Legal Stuff section for our ID requirements. Once your ID is verified and you're added to our system, our helpful staff will sort through your material to maximize your payout. The material will be weighed in front of you using certified scales, with a clear display of the weight for your verification. After weighing your metal, we'll provide you with the price and ask how you'd like to be paid. Prices are reviewed daily based on the London Metal Exchange and are calculated per kilo, allowing us to purchase in smaller quantities. We offer various payment options, which are detailed in our Ways To Get Paid section below. It's as easy as pie!
Due to new laws implemented in 2012, Scrap Metal Dealers across the UK are no longer able to pay cash for scrap metal. Here are the payment methods we offer: * **Cheques:** We can provide you with a cheque for your payment, free of charge, on the same day. * **BACS Payment:** Standard Bacs payment with a daily cut-off at 4pm. * **Same Day BACS:** Same-day payments are available Monday to Friday for transactions before 4pm and are subject to a small fee.
