Lowndes Lumb Construction Ltd is a highly experienced Fulham-based team consisting of master builders, specialist craftsmen, technicians, joiners, cabinetmakers and decorators through to project managers, architects and engineers.
Our work includes basements, extensions, loft conversions and complete property refurbishment, as well as smaller projects such as kitchens and bathrooms.
We work either independently or in conjunction with specialists such as architects and interior designers.
We provide planning, design, construction and project management services to an exceptionally high standard. We work in close collaboration with each client, guiding them step-by-step through the building process, helping with any advice and decision-making along the way.
We combine traditional values and methods with the appropriate modern technology. We have a strong management team who ensure every element is integrated and streamlined, and that each job is delivered to our high standard.
If a project is well managed then it is likely to be successful and more importantly finished on time and in budget. We will put together a detailed schedule of works, and take your project from inception through to a successful conclusion.
Our projects have included basements, lofts, wine cellars, swimming pools, steel and glass structures, flats and apartments. We have enjoyed the challenge of working on both historical and modern homes with both period and contemporary interiors.
We work with suppliers who are experienced in the particular challenges of developing the London home bringing imaginative solutions and an eye for detail to each project. We take the time to deliver what our clients actually want.

“We were moving abroad but wanted keep a property in the UK, so we bought an investment property on Kings Rd that required extensive works. We very little idea what was required from a building and redevelopment perspective, except that the numbers had to add up and it had to be as hassle free as possible as we were an 11 hour flight away while the project was happening! Lowndes Lumb advised us on all aspects of the redevelopment work, from help with the plans through to helping choosing light switches, and carried out the necessary works. Lowndes Lumbs' advice and experience, as landlords themselves, helped us redevelop the flat to achieve the maximum rental value while making sure the flat would last through long tenancies by utilising long lasting finishes and ensuing the flat was low maintenance but importantly without compromising the look and style we were looking for. The result is a fabulous upmarket 3 bed flat with roof terrace, which we are delighted with and that has now been let for 3 years very successfully.”
